Austin called the meeting to order at 7:00pm.
Approval of the September 3, 2015 minutes
Gary moves that we amend by cutting the note about the Santa Cruz County Fair. Gary moves we accept as amended, Bert seconds, approved.
Bill reported that the club current balance is
$686.97 remaining balance after
$678.11 spent in September.

Austin reported that all three repeaters, AB6VS, KC6TYG and AE6KE were working fine.
Austin and Bert turned in a spreadsheet list of all the equipment, county and other, that was lost in the LPCC fire.
Bert spoke with Paul Horvat today, he will look into it next week.
Bert reports that the TNC that arrived DOA has been replaced configured and is up and running.
ARES EC Report
Gary is still collecting #s for the local net check-ins.
President’s Report N/A
Austin reviewed and worked through the step-by-step procedures of the Packet Process document that Bert created and made suggestions. Bert has printed the step-by-step guide to sending packet messages. He would like to laminate it once we approve the sheet:
Bert has followed up with the County about replacing equipment lost in the fire.
Bert still wants to create charts to do a class on Packet Transmissions.
Goal is to use RMS express via VHF. Bert also wants to be Outpost capable for the Santa Clara side folks.
Sam can do a demo of packet out of the back of his truck tonight.
Emergency Preparedness in October, pay attention on the nets.
Pacificon is 10/16- 18.
San Ramon Marriot. All 3 licenses will be tested.
George has a box of old stuff, much from Marc’s supplies. Going to the dump otherwise.
