Meeting minutes for the March meeting were discussed - David posted information on the webpage.

Bill (William) provided the Treasurer's Report:

$1891.42 balance as of today.

$ 35.12 phone bill

$ 00.00 deposit of dues

Why do we have long distance? Need to determine the local boundaries for our phone.

David and Bill did research - Local,Intermediate,Long Distance -not worth our effort to figure out the

difference in the cost.

Researched and determined that the effort cost more than the options we have currently.

Bill to send messages to those still missing dues for this year.

Equipment Status

DVR is there in AB6VS repeater, but we haven't done anything with it as of yet.

Request to raise the AE6KE repeater 10ft. Will do so as able.

ARES REPORT

Santa Clara EC council meeting this week and a quarterly drill for Santa Clara County on 4/17.

Training - Packet Training Class level 1 on May 1st in Sunnyvale. Information is on Santa Clara ARES site

Monthly Focus Item - Field Day - June 25-27

Vic reported the Santa Cruz Group is having difficulty locating someone to run the event. Therefore, the event is

currently not happening.

New business:

Science Fair - David and Jennifer participated as LPARC at the Science Fair - Saturday March 20, 2010 from 2-5PM.

This was a successful event for LPARC.

Old business:

Bill presented his steel tape and pvc antenna.

Cloud asked about hearing her during the last net she ran. She has been working from the top fo Call of the Wild.

It was suggested that Cloud use the AB6VS repeater. David will see if he can locate the DVR code to do a speak test.
