 LPARC Minutes 2008-11-03
   --- President David N2RDT called the meeting to order in the Burrell Fire Station at 7:37 PM
   --- Attendees: Charlie AB6VS, Vic AE6ID, George AE6KE, Bill KG6VMX, Kathi KI6POY, David N2RDT, and Marc W6ZZZ
   --- Guests (3 Cal Fire folks who recently got their ham licenses): David Durham KI6TBB, Jill McLaughlin KI6TBN, and Ken Izzo KI6TBI

Treasurer’s Report
   --- Balance of $1026.32, phone bill expense of $27.89
   --- The LPCF Emergency Preparedness fund holds $675 that was donated by club members for the repeater project.  In addition to that, LPCF has (tentatively) budgeted $900 for the repeater.

LPARC Business
   --- The previous minutes were approved
   --- The election was unanimous for

   --- The next meeting of LPARC is Monday, December 1st

ARES Business
   --- We participated in the Santa Clara County quarterly drill using our emergency equipment at the Loma Prieta school (radios, power supplies, coax and external antennas)
   --- MAC training (mutual aid communicator) happens the first Saturday of most every month; see the Santa Clara County web page for a schedule at
   --- There is a Santa Clara County “Quick Trainer & Field Resource Guide for the Emergency Communicator” at

AB6VS LPARC Repeater Equipment Report
   --- Our AB6VS remote base unit needs to be fixed so that we can link the repeaters
   --- We have formed a Repeater Committee consisting of Austin AB6VU, David N2RDT and George AE6KE

AE6KE ARES Repeater Equipment Report
   --- Nothing to report
